A spring funeral.

Of my portfolio, I personally like these shots of me and my twin sister the most. All these pictures are very editorial and subtle.
We took these photos at ..yes a graveyard. At first, I was doubtful that I would go through with this because I felt it was disrespectful taking shots near gravestones, but in fact I think these shots have shown the beauty of this graveyard.
The photographer knew exactly what she wanted and her vision came through for me..
Check em out.. =)

Colour in Actions.

So I organized a shoot about a week ago with designer Kirsten Summersgill and photographer Rachel Mackay. Both astounding people and artists. These pictures will be displayed in the Aura magazine addition 2010 as I recall.. so keep posted for the magazine. Also, I'll be sending these photos to New York agencies for feedback..I'll keep you posted ;)
I love the designs I got to wear, very colorful, and the way Rachel (the photographer) captured the lighting and mood.
Here's samples of that specific shoot..

Rad by Rad Collection.

This designer is definitely one of my favorites. His name is Rad Hourani, he is one of the first Indie designers from Canada to make it "Big" in the New York scene. All his clothing is unisex but all pieces make strong statements.
I love the layered draped look he captures in his pieces.
Here's some of Hourani's designs..
Q. What’s the ultimate vision you wish to get across through your clothing?
Unisex, timeless, long, straight, silk, black. (Hourani's interview with prim.magazine)
